A systematic review is a review of a clearly formulated question that uses systematic and explicit methods to identify, select, and critically appraise relevant research, and to collect and analyze data from the studies that are included in the review. They are vital to evidence-based medicine and increasingly inform healthcare decision making around the world. Value Edge has an extensively experienced team of systematic reviewers and statisticians. We offer:
Qualitative systematic review, with qualitative report/slide deck
We follow a clear and reproducible process when designing and conducting the review. The techniques we employ are industry-standard and up-to-date, ensuring our systematic reviews are fit-for-purpose.
Our review process includes:
Meta-analysis, including pair-wise indirect comparison
Meta-analysis is a statistical tool to combine the results of individual studies, thereby increasing the power to detect relative differences between interventions. We do both direct and indirect meta-analysis.
Direct analysis: Pair-wise meta-analyses are conducted using direct evidence (head-to-head) to compare one treatment with another
Indirect analysis: Results of meta-analyses or direct comparisons are used to conduct indirect comparisons via a common comparator. For example, results from trials comparing A vs. B and B vs. C are used to compare A vs. C using B as a common comparator
