The Challenge
A mid sized UK specialty pharma company was looking to enter India for a wound care product in the diabetes wound care market. The client was particularly focused on the "execution piece" - looking for partners/distributors that would be willing to invest sales and marketing dollars in their brand and have a good portfolio fit.

The Solution
Value Edge provided the client with a market and competitive landscape using a combination of secondary and primary data. We conducted due-diligence on a number of mid sized Indian pharmaceutical companies to assess and identify a good "strategic fit" and a "portfolio fit". After shortlisting partners, we had preliminary meetings with each of them and presented the shortlisted partners to our client. Finally we coordinated an India visit, and prioritized 2 partners for the client. Currently the client is working with the short-listed Indian company.
